ContactPoint News!ContactPoint logo : This is the logo for ContactPoint - the information sharing index

ContactPoint training has now commenced in Cornwall for Children's Schools and Families staff. It has been acknowledged by the DCSF that we are the first in the South West to begin training our practitioners and practitioners have now accessed the live system.

Following a trial period of training the rollout of ContactPoint will be reviewed and a programme of accreditation to include partner agencies will begin.

1. Office accommodation for the Launceston, Bude and Callington Locality staff and partner organisation's staff
2. Integrated working and sharing data between agencies
3. Improved outcomes in line with the Children & Young People's Plan

What is your professional background?
Senior manager with extensive property, facilities and project management experience gained with the Ministry of Defence and the SW Regional Development Agency. Complementary experience includes building services engineering, electrical engineering teaching, and engineering workshops.

If you were on a quiz show, what would the interesting fact about yourself be?
Keen interest in Formula 1 Grand Prix racing and modern sequence dancing

Latest project update: Seeking agreement over sites for the Launceston Hub and Spokes at Bude and Callington.  Development of the Client Design Briefs in consultation with Children, Schools and Families staff and partnership organisations.
