Hello!
The Strategic Priority One group are gearing up for the next Voice, Influence and Participation event on Friday, 19th February. This event is being held at Penair School from 10am and we will finish at 2pm. It's never too late to join in and individual children and young people or those from any school, group are invited to attend.
This session will be focused on the developments of the Voice, Influence and Participation work and specifically for children and young people to look at designing how the Children's Trust scrutiny committee (or whatever children and young people choose to call it) works. This group will challenge the Trust in what they are doing for children and young people in Cornwall and will help them make important decisions. We also need to to ensure we're including in the voices of children and young people from across the county. No easy task!
In the morning we will explore what the structure could look like and what work we need to do. In the afternoon we will be more creative and will use various ways to explore ways children and young people can access this structure. We hope the day will be very interactive. The day is being planned with young women from the YWCA and Members of Youth Parliament.
