Involvement
Cornwall Children's Trust has agreed an
Active
Involvement Strategy to ensure that children and young people
have the opportunity to be involved in decisions about the services
they receive.
Listening to children & young people and
acting on their voices is EVERYONE'S responsibility! The
following information outlines the key ways in which
children & young people in Cornwall can contribute their
views across the Children's Trust.

UKYP Cornwall
on Facebook
Cornwall's Members of Youth Parliament (MYP) now have their own
page on Facebook.
They want as many young people in Cornwall between the ages of
13 & 19 to 'like' their page.
Get your voice heard by visiting:

Locality Young People's Communication
Events....

chosen to use in Cornwall in order to develop a comprehensive
and carefully considered approach to systematically gather the
voices of young people in a sustainable way on a local level.
Participation at the Children's Leadership Group
(CLG)...
enables groups of children & young
people to present their ideas on a quarterly basis to ensure the
voice of vulnerable children & young people is heard loud
and clear at a strategic level. More information is available on
the Participation at CLG page.
Quality Standards for
Participation
Cornwall has endorsed a variety of

that there is a group of young people trained as ‘Media Champions’ (part of the south-west
‘Sounds Positive’ project) who are working in their localities to
promote the positive image of young people in their
communities? You can get in contact with your nearest young
media champion through Mary Ann Bloomfield.
