Integrated Working Training
This course will give an understanding of integrated working for
all who come into contact with children and families. This
course replaces the two day CAF training so you do not need to
attend if you have previously completed this training.
It is aimed at those practitioners who are likely to complete a
CAF and/or take on the Lead Professional role. The training
is free of charge. Please be aware that training
must be delivered on a multi-agency basis and therefore places for
individual agencies/teams are limited.

- Lead Professional
- Information Sharing
- Early Support
Objectives:
To build on the e-learning modules you have completed prior to
attending this course including:
- Team Around the Child (TAC)
- Integrated Working: Common Assessment Framework (CAF)
- Integrated Working in Cornwall
- Early Support
To equip participants with skills and knowledge in initiating a
CAF/Early Support and/or taking on the Lead Professional role.
Prior learning
All participants are required to complete an introductory online
training programme via the E-academy. This introductory
course is made up of learning modules: The Common Assessment
Framework (CAF), Information Sharing and the Role of the Lead
Professional. This online course will give the necessary
understanding of these topic areas prior to attendance at the 1 day
training. Access to the online training will be organised
once the one day training has been booked.
The online learning will take approximately 2 - 3 hours and must
be completed at least 5 working days prior to the course date you
have chosen.
